The size of the pallets is selected depending on the size of the packages of goods, but if it is supposed to supply goods for export, you can choose only from two standards - 1200x800 and 1200x1000. These are pallets that are used by companies engaged in foreign trade activities.

According to the requirements of the international standard for sanitary and phytosanitary standards ISPM-15 (basic principles for regulating wooden packaging material that are used in international trade, No. 15, March 2002, Rome, FAO) wooden containers (for sending goods outside Ukraine most often wooden containers are used - wooden Euro pallets), disinfection must be carried out by heat treatment.
Phytosanitary treatment of pallets by heat treatment is one of the most optimal and common methods. In this case, a special marking is applied to the Euro pallets - “IPPC”. The mark is made in the form of a stamp on which are indicated:
- code of the country of manufacture of the packaging material and Euro pallets;
- license number of the company that carried out the heat treatment of pallets;
- method of decontamination of Euro pallets.
Such marking of pallets is applied to each wooden pallets that have undergone phytosanitary treatment and is a prerequisite for the export of goods on pallets abroad.
